Al Dahra Egypt
Al Dahra owns and manages four large agricultural projects in Egypt and cultivates a wide variety of crops, spreading over 20,000 acres of land. Al Dahra Egypt is specialized in land reclamation and agricultural development and has invested heavily in building a solid infrastructure comprising wells, drip and pivot irrigation systems, pumping stations, filtration units, processing plants and sorting and packing units. In addition, it has developed advanced logistics capabilities for domestic and overseas distribution and has invested in the latest agricultural equipment and logistics machinery.
In particular, Al Dahra Egypt cultivates and produces about 15,000 of citrus fruits annually. Whilst the main focus is on the cultivation of oranges, the company also cultivates other citrus fruits varieties such as lemons, grapefruit, mandarin, easy and peelers. Al Dahra Egypt channels ifs production through various export markets in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. As part of a new agricultural development mega project consisting of the cultivation of about 100,000 acres of land with permanent and seasonal crops, Al Dahra is planning to increase its citrus production capacity over the coming few years.
